I would like to express my gratitude to Mitacs, and Lakehead University for providing me with the valuable chance to collaborate with a distinguished professor (Dr. Kefu Liu) who is specialized in the field of Dynamics and Vibrations. During this research internship, I was involved in a project entitled ""Development of a device to harvest energy from human motions"". This project focused on the principles of electromagnetic induction and mechanical vibration. The objective was to design a device capable of generating a certain amount of voltage, (my device was producing approximately 150 mV for 2 Hz of vibration) from the movements of human limbs. This voltage was intended to recharge portable, small electronic devices such as smartwatches and wristbands. With this kind of project, we can also open a new dimension of energy sustainability and renewability. This internship has provided me with several valuable experiences and learning opportunities that will greatly benefit me in the future. Through this internship, I have had the privilege of gaining insights into other cultures, including Canadian and Italian cultures, among others. I express gratitude towards all those who provided assistance and blessings, as their support has enabled the successful completion of my internship.
As I complete my summer internship halfway through, at the University of Calgary, I am deeply filled with nothing but gratitude for this opportunity. Meeting and living life with so many people across all the #IITs, #IISERs, and #BITS is truly an enriching experience that can't be put into a few words in this post. #New_Perspectives Every day I find myself with new perspectives, thoughts, and challenges that help me understand myself and the world around me better. #Independence Living and managing oneself is a life skill for which I am eternally grateful. As trivial as it sounds, managing one's life is truly exhaustive and challenging and I'm eternally grateful for this small #life_internship too :) #Gratitude I am highly indebted and grateful to Dr.Nipun Arora and Dr.Ravindra Brahmajosyula for their guidance and the experience I gained at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. On this occasion, I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to my seniors Harsh Agarwal who helped me throughout the process, and Kwanit Gupta for always believing in me even when I had lost all hope in myself. Lastly, I would like to thank my labmate Samanway Ray for helping me survive this internship :) I am excited to continue learning and sharing insights with all of you as we pursue our individual paths. I cannot forget to mention my incredible family and loved ones. Your love, support, and belief in my dreams have been the driving force behind my accomplishments. Thank you!
I am thrilled to share that I have embarked on an incredible journey as a Software Engineer Intern at SMS DATATECH CORPORATION, located in the vibrant city of Tokyo, Japan for Summer 2023. I would like to thank SriramKumar B., Gaurav Agarwal and the entire team at SMS DataTech for a smooth onboarding experience. As a Software Engineer Intern, I will have the privilege to work alongside a talented team of professionals. I am eager to collaborate with them on exciting projects, tackle real-world challenges, and contribute to the development of impactful solutions. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my professors, seniors, and friends who have supported me through and through. Finally, I would like to thank Career Development Cell, IIT Jodhpur for providing me with such a great opportunity. Looking forward to working with great minds, gaining valuable insights, and having an incredible summer full of growth and learning.
It was my honour to join the Xi Research Group (McMaster University) under the supervision of Dr. Li Xi at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. This was made possible by Mitacs through the Globalink Research Internship. The experience that I gained has truly changed how I see the field of my research and academia in general (trust me, you?ll notice canyons? worth of difference between universities and academic culture across the pond). Moreover, what possesses greater importance to me besides research alone is the amount of cordiality that all of the members of the group showed. Never in any of the group meetings would I feel as if I was a new and temporary researcher. I was welcomed as if I was already a part of that group for years. Truly, I am extremely touched by this. A big thank you to everyone at the Xi Research Group (McMaster University)! Additionally, I would like to thank Dr. Harshal Akolekar for the fact that he accepted me very early on as his group member. All of this is essentially a culmination of the research that I have done under him. P.S. (to whoever has taken the time to read the entire thing): This internship of mine comes exactly 45 years after my grandfather had got a chance to visit University of Guelph, Canada in the summer as a veterinary doctor on behalf of Amul India (one of the only two selected nationwide by Vergese Kurien himself) to be the one to learn ways to effectively introduce a new type of cattle into India during the white revolution. Proud to be carrying on the legacy!

I'm eager to expand my professional network and engage in meaningful discussions.
I have completed my Mitacs Globalink Research Internship at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), Toronto. During the course of my internship, I have made some of my most cherished memories. Every day I learned something new that helped me grow holistically as a person and build new connections. This opportunity paved the way to learn new technologies, re-learn a lot of things from a different perspective and work in a multi-disciplinary as well as multi-cultural environment. During my time in Canada, I travelled to new places, interacted with locals and enjoyed a lot whilst conducting research. I am extremely grateful to my mentors Dr Anatoliy Gruzd and Dr Philip Mai, for this wonderful opportunity and many life lessons. It would not have been possible to enhance without your continual feedback and guidance. I would also like to thank my fellow collaborators Tiago Ribeiro, Dr Felipe Bonow Soares for making work fun and fruitful. I had a great time with you folks. Lastly, I would like to thank Mitacs for running this program and energising us with many social events. Last but not least, I would like to thank my roommates Naman Agarwal, Shaswat Garg and Aditya Rai for a great time. Kudos to a summer of fun and new experiences !!
I am elated to share that I have been accepted as a research intern at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta under the supervision of Dr. Li Cheng as a part of Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2023, fully funded for 12 weeks. This opportunity will allow me to expand and apply my knowledge in an international research environment. I am grateful to my mentors Dr. Richa Singh , Dr. SANTOSH KUMAR VIPPARTHI and my university professors at Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur for their guidance and insightful advice. I would also like to thank my friends, peers and seniors for their support and help throughout the application process. Congratulations! to my peers who have made it through.
